New Jersey native Johnny D’Angelo has been quickly building up quite the reputation as an in-demand drummer. Born into a musical family he began playing drums at the age of 5, became professional at 14 and began teaching music at age 16. After attending the prestigious Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts, he hit the music scene hard.  He can frequently be seen playing in clubs down the Jersey shore and also touring nationally and internationally with his bands.

A true chameleon behind the kit, Johnny pulls from styles such as rock, jazz, latin, funk and blues. Playing a simple 4-piece drum-set, he relies very much on feel and well placed phrasing, while utilizing his considerable chops to accent and excite when needed. He has an almost effortless and relaxed feel, yet ferocious power and stage presence to drive a band. He tries to instill all of his skills and the love of music into every student.
