Piano & Violin


Music Teacher—Warren County Special Services School District, New Jersey                    2009–Present

Conduct musical activities for a broad range of special needs students, pre-K through 12, including, but not limited to, those with autistic (moderate to severe), cognitive (severe), multiple (mild to severe), and behavioral disorders. Incorporate singing, movement, use of percussive and melodic instruments, and use of visual and audio aids, when appropriate, into all classes.

Private Piano Instruction                                                                                          1995–Present

Teach piano and violin performance and musicianship to all ages and levels of accomplishment. Currently teaching at the Allstar Academy of Music in Flemington, New Jersey in addition to private students; have been associated with various local music schools.

Group Piano Teacher—Washington Memorial Elementary School, New Jersey                    2012

Teach six sessions of group piano for grades 4 through 6 as part of an after school extracurricular program. Each class consists of four to six students.

General Music Elementary School Teacher—Alexandria Township, New Jersey                   2009

Instructed all students pre-K through 3rd grade. Coached 3rd graders on the recorder. Utilized select concepts and methods drawn from Orff, Kodaly, Dalcroze, and numerous pedagogical procedures acquired through years of teaching, studying, and performing, synthesizing these elements into unique style while simultaneously adhering to New Jersey State Standards.

Student taught at the Lincoln and Euclid Elementary School in Hasbrouck Heights, New Jersey, under the supervision of Mrs. Sandra Cerasuola. Student taught Chorale at Fort Lee High School, New Jersey, under the supervision of Mr. Joe Picone.

Specialized in detailed analyses and critical problem solving to accommodate the unique requirements of Butler’s business. Provided a firm knowledge of Lawson’s payroll, billing, and benefit processing as well as its human resources, commissions, and taxation programs.

Senior Programmer/Analyst—Churchill Communications Corporation                                    1985–1996

Managed replacement of NIXDORF data entry software with new PC network data-entry system. Designed, programmed, fully documented, and trained staff for original projects on both the HP3000 and the PC to provide numerous and varied corporate clients with customized electronic correspondences.
